Abby Grayzel

Abby became the program manager for Eva Grayzel in January, 2009, after a 16 year career in the health care industry. Prior to her work with Eva Grayzel and Six-Step Screening, Abby implemented and managed the international division for Vista Staffing Solutions, placing American and Canadian physicians in New Zealand and Australia. Prior to that Abby was a scheduling director for Vista Staffing Solutions on both the surgical specialties and primary care teams. Abby earned a MHSA from the University of Michigan, School of Public Health in 1990. After graduating, she was a policy analyst for the Utah State Department of Health, after which she was program manager for the University of Utah Health Sciences Center’s AHEC program. Subsequent to this, Abby was marketing coordinator for the Utah Health Information Network, one of the first electronic health data exchange networks in the country.

Abby’s life was forever changed after watching her sister endure the effects of surgery and treatment for oral cancer. Abby remembers Eva’s amazing attitude and that Eva never said “Woe is me – I have cancer” but rather said things such as “I am stronger than this cancer” and “I never want to look back on my life and say ‘I wish I would have…’ This inspired Abby to take a sabbatical from work and travel around the world before starting to work with Eva. Abby attends many of Eva’s lectures and sees first hand the impact Eva’s program has on dental professionals worldwide. She is committed to educating everyone she comes in contact with about the signs of oral cancer and that people need to ask their dental professionals for an oral cancer screening.
